We've now set dates for the SHC Events. They are as follows;

• SHC Classic and Newcomers - 30^th & 31^st May
• SHC Horse of the Year - 31^st October & 1^st November

*We have also just updated our Calendar of Events for 2009.

The Show Horse Council of WA's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is to be held on Friday 30^th January 2009, 7.30pm at:

Ogden's Conference Room
Gosnells Hotel
Albany Hwy, Gosnells.

There are 6 positions up for nomination, letters will be going out this week.

Please note that affiliation fees for 2009 are now due.

All clubs should have recently received correspondence regarding re-affiliation.

Affiliate Clubs have been requested to include the following in their programs for official shows:

• Show Hunters height and weight classes
• Leading Rein classes
• Pony classes without age restrictions

A show program listing the minimum required classes is available on the Clubs page.

If you are attending a show run by a SHC affiliate club and these classes are not included you can request the organisers to include them as the recommended minimum classes.

The SHC introduced this squad, which is open to all level of riders, a few years ago to provide junior members with access to interstate instructors.

We run several 2 day squads throughout the year with both interstate and local instructors and include other fun and useful activities in the program.
